2026 Grant Writing in Lisbon

Description

Grant Writing – Participants will gain foundational knowledge and practical skills to write competitive grant proposals and learn how to develop a strategy to find and secure sustainable funding.

This session will be held on Monday, October 12th, 2026 from 9:30am to 12:30pm (location in Lisbon TBD but will be in walking distance if not at Avila near Saldanha). This may be purchased as a stand-alone session.

This session will include:

• Understanding the Grant Landscape in the United States
• Getting Grant Ready & Components of a Standard Proposal
• Finding and Planning for Grant Opportunities
• Becoming a Grant Writer — including writing for one organization or working as a contractor

Cancellation Policy: Conference registrations are refundable with 30 days advance notice – please contact us by email if you have to cancel. In the event that a registrant is unable to attend the conference after that point, a substitute registrant may be provided in lieu of the original registration, prior to the start of the conference. Registrants may also transfer their registration to a future event or receive a credit with the event organizer, Agility, LLC, to be used on future events or consulting services. All requests for refunds or transfers must be made in writing to the event organizer. Cash refunds will not be granted for any cancellations made within 30 days of the start of the conference.
